Lovelocks KGB is a full sister to Lovelocks CIA (Clark × Dolfina Espía), a proven UK high-goal mare played by Juan Martín Nero during the 2025 and 2026 seasons, competing in both the Queen’s Cup and the Gold Cup. CIA was also awarded Best Playing Pony during the 2026 Queen’s Cup.
Her sire, Clark, is a La Irenita stallion and proven high-goal player, competing in the UK in 2013 and 2014 and in the Argentine Triple Crown in 2014 and 2015.
His dam, Claret, played the 2005 Argentine Open at Palermo with Pablo MacDonough before travelling to the UK, where she played three high-goal seasons with Facundo Pieres, playing two chukkers in every match. She was awarded Best Playing Pony in the 2009 UK Gold Cup Final before returning to Argentina, where she played the Argentine Triple Crown in 2009, 2010 and 2011 with Facundo Pieres. A cornerstone broodmare at Ellerstina, among her most notable offspring is Open Yquem, winner of multiple BPP awards in UK high-goal polo with Gonzalo Pieres.
