Her sire, Nutbush, was imported directly from Ellerston, Australia, at the age of two. His sire, Hermitage, was selected by Ellerston as a successor to the renowned Norman Pentaquad and Monty, two stallions that played a major role in establishing the reputation of the Ellerston breeding programme. Nutbush is out of Tango, an important Ellerstina broodmare and dam of Music, who played the Argentine Triple Crown with Facundo Pieres in 2005 and 2006 before competing in the UK in 2007 and 2008.

Her dam, Dolfina Chema, was injured during her development and subsequently incorporated into breeding. She has produced active high-level polo horses in Argentina, the UK and the USA, including Lovelocks Extasis, who played the Argentine Open Qualification with Facundo Llosa before being exported to the USA with Nick Roldán. Chema is out of Small Pearson, an outstanding mare played by Adolfo Cambiaso in UK high-goal polo from 2004 to 2007, winner of Best Playing Pony at the 2005 Queen’s Cup and later a player at the Argentine Open at Palermo in 2007.
