Her sire, Open Chimento, played the Argentine Triple Crown in 2008 and 2009 with Adolfo Cambiaso and was Grand Champion Male at the 2005 Palermo Livestock Exhibition. He has also sired a large number of high-goal playing horses, including Dolfina Roxy (× Hanna Montana), Pacua Olivia (× Dolo), Baysur Clara (× Dolfina Haydee) and Dolfina Pollera Amarilla (× Dolfina Cuartetera), among many others.  

Her dam, Hanna Montana, a winning Thoroughbred racehorse in the USA, played with Cambiaso in Argentina and the USA in 2010–2011 and again in the Argentine Triple Crown from 2014 to 2017, including the Argentine Open finals at Palermo. Campanilla is also a full sister to Dolfina Roxy, a multiple award-winning Argentine Triple Crown mare played by Adolfo Cambiaso.
