Lovelocks Zazoo (Open Trueno x Irenita Favorita)

Lovelocks Zazoo was acquired by Lovelocks directly from La Irenita as an embryo and subsequently bred by Lovelocks. He retired after 15 years competing at the highest level in Argentina.

Open Trueno (Sportivo x Lechuza)

Stallion owned by Gonzalo Pieres, his dam Lechuza was a founding line of the Ellerstina breeding programme, played in all Opens with Gonzalo Pieres, inductee of the AACCP Hall of Fame and winner of the Lady Susan Townley Award in 1986 and 1987. His sire Sportivo was one of the most influential sires in Argentine polo breeding, winner of the AACCP Sire Rankings from 2014 to 2021 and sire of numerous champions, including Dolfina Cuartetera (Sportivo x Lambada) — Argentine Triple Crown from 2006 to 2015 with Adolfo Cambiaso, Lady Susan Townley Award 2009, 2010 and 2014, 3-time Best Argentine Polo Horse and inductee of the AACCP Hall of Fame.

Irenita Favorita (Pucara x Fantasia)

Played the Argentine Open without interruption from 2002 to 2008 alongside Matías Mac Donough. Her dam Fantasia (Stage Coach x La Vuelta) is an inductee of the Argentine Polo Association Hall of Fame, played all Opens with Matías Mac Donough and was a founding line of La Irenita. Her sire Pucara (Sequito x Rubia) is considered one of the finest polo stallions, sire of outstanding Triple Crown players including the legendary Machitos Jazz (inductee of the Argentine Polo Association Hall of Fame) and the renowned stallions Durazno and Ellerstina Picaro.

Lovelocks Illusive (Clark x Grappa Ilusa)

High-goal playing mare in UK, winner of the BPP at the Prince of Wales 2019 and BPP at the Tramontana Cup (semi-finals) of the Gold Cup 2020 with Gonzalo Pieres. Among her most notable offspring is Lovelocks Faustinos (x O. El Padrino): winner of two Best Argentine Polo Horse awards and active in the Argentine Triple Crown alongside Juan Britos.

Clark (Night Opera x Claret)

Stallion from La Irenita, high-goal player in the UK in 2013 and 2014 and Triple Crown player in 2014 and 2015. Son of Night Opera and the renowned Claret — played the Argentine Open at Palermo 2005 with Pablo Mac Donough and competed at high goal in the United Kingdom for three seasons with Facundo Pieres. Played and won the Gold Cup (UK 2009) playing 2 chukkas in every match, returned to Argentina and played the Triple Crown 2009, 2010 and 2011 also with F. Pieres. A cornerstone broodmare at Ellerstina; among her most notable offspring is Open Yquem, winner of multiple BPP awards at high goal in the UK with Gonzalo Pieres.

Grappa Ilusa (Rainbow Corner x Ilusion)

Played the Argentine Triple Crown 2008 and was subsequently exported to the United Kingdom. Her sire Rainbow Corner (Rainbow Quest x Kingscote) was an Ellerstina stallion who produced multiple Triple Crown players. Her dam Ilusion (Catman x Pimienta) played the Argentine Triple Crown with Gonzalo Pieres, Gonzalo Pieres (h) and Adolfo Cambiaso. One of Ellerstina's most important broodmares, with numerous offspring in the Argentine Triple Crown.
